The area where I live is dry desert with a lot of cactus. I tend to forget even though I have myself lived in places that were green and rain happened more than once every few months. This bracelet is AMAZING!! Thank you for making such beautiful work! I'll be wearing it for my warrior exams next week. A warrior exam comes from the buddhist tradition in which we work with the knowing that comes from hearing and contemplating the teachings. The quote on the bracelet will be a reminder to me to listen to the voice within as I answer the questions: "Between us and the stars, there lies silence; and there in the stillness, let us listen to the voice that speaks within us." Today was Nina Bagley day in Moorpark. I happened to have lunch with my friend, who was sporting a gorgeous Nina Bagley original that she received in todays mail. She was also wearing a beautiful Nina Bagley "Bird Girl" bracelet that her friend Carmen gave her knowing she IS the quintessential "Bird Girl!" i love these script earrings, Nina. They have the feel and aura of some very old family treasure handed down through the generations (perhaps from the eldest daughter to her eldest daughter, and so on?) and the patina of the mother of pearl "frames" gleam softly at my earlobes.
