You know how some people realize what they really should be doing with their life after they spend years in the wrong career? That was me.

Why I didn't realize after growing up the perpetual decorator and sewer, and going off to college with an array of coordinating, hand crafted pillows for me and my roomate (before it was chic to decorate a dorm room), that I was meant for interior design, I will never know.

Anyway, fast forward to today, and I have spent the last 14 fabulous years doing what I love. I started my window treatment and design business at the address 6 Wilson, hence the sentimental name for my shop. I worked for myself for several years, then went to a small home decor shop to do accessory decorating and displays. Then, I moved on as a designer at a major, well established retailer. After that, I spent a couple of years doing residential design at a design studio/showroom, before re-establishing Carol Beck Interiors earlier this year.

I hope you will stick around and visit often as inventory changes (most pieces are one of a kind). I promise you some gorgeous things to come!
