My life seems to be an ongoing attempt to join my love of creativity with my innate desire to help people grow.

My journey began with a formal degree in social work and many years of informal training in dance, art, and jewelry making (my claim to fame is that I was the first employee of Liztech jewelry). I am certified in numerous bodywork modalities and have had a private practice since 1988. I opened a wellness center called Wellspring Holistic Center in 1994 and that is where i spend most of my time. People, their stories and their vulnerability will keep me fascinated and awe struck for the rest of my life.

I have been teaching modern dance, improvisation, creative movement, and Pilates for almost as long and have enjoyed workshop facilitation and performing all over the country. I received my Ph.D in holistic health in 2001 researching and writing my thesis on the body/mind connection through my work with clients on the table and on the dance floor. I continue to take workshops in healing and in movement and probably will for the rest of my life.

My jewelry making came back into my life a few years ago as an outlet for my tired soul and as a way to inspire people through wearable art with heart!

I like to think of my jewelry as three dimensional art because you can pick it up, touch it, interact with it, and share it.

Currently, I am working with mixed metals: sterling silver, brass, copper, nickel, and other base metals. I am also having fun with semi-precious stones. Some of my faves right now are: bottswana agate, moss agate, jasper, yellow jade, and labradorite.

I enjoy watching people open up and reach for their potential, whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. It is all beautiful.

My goal currently is to become as free and joy-filled as my dog, Scout (and get out at least one blog post per month!).
