At BISCUIT LEATHER COMPANY we make leather totes, purses, clutches and journals by hand. Choose from a bag large enough to carry your daily necessities, an extra pair of shoes, lunch and water bottle. Or a small clutch to keep your necessities in ( lipstick, license, a few bucks, credit cards, phone and keys).
Easy to grab in a hurry and leave the big biscuit in the car.

Now all the mumbo jumbo and $mall Print: Because they are made by hand, patience is of the essence, expect your order to be filled in 6-8 weeks.
- All products are hand cut, hand sewn with waxed linen threads, hand punched, hand rubbed with Neats foot Oil and hand waxed with a secret wax recipe. You can maintain the leather with a touch of olive oil, leather conditioner and/or leather oil. If you are too damn tired of cooking your own biscuits (and you live near me) drop it off and I’ll give it a fresh pat of butter.
-Sizes can be customized to meet your specific needs.
- The vegetable tanned leather is a natural leather, not dyed. It will darken with exposure to light, oils, conditioners and age. This is a good thing!
- The dyed leathers are Horween leather. Their colors will not change. If you get a scratch and it bothers you, give it a good little rub with some olive oil, it will improve.
- Because animal hides are not manufactured, from real life. They will vary in color and have blemishes. These variations are what makes each biscuit tasty and unique.
Last important note: If you are looking for a perfect clean bag with zippers, snaps, many pockets, bells and whistles, go to the department store. This is not the bag for you. This bag is about simplicity, throw it in, pull it out, no fuss, no hassle, but you look classy and cool all the while. Kind of like a Katherine Hepburn/Lauren Bacall bag. Soft buttery leather, artisan hand work. Better with age and each one unique!
