We ARE a handmade shop. We define handmade like this, we take the raw material (vinyl) and with the use of our designs, cutting machine, and software, and a lot of hand weeding ( removing the unwanted vinyl) we create some of the finest wall decal items on the net.

All items purchased from Chuck E Byrd Wall Decals are created by either myself or my wife Jeanette right here in OUR shop.

We NEVER use a factory to make our decals. Most of the time we each have a role in making, shipping, and mailing each item.

We are a true Mom & Pop shop, making all our wall decals one at a time, just for you.

We create High quality vinyl wall art for use in your home or business. I am more of a talker than writer, but I'll give it a try.

We are the team of Jeanette & Chuck Cobb together we make up Chuck-E-Byrd Wall Decals. We are a married team, by team I mean where you find one of us, you’ll find the other. Now some married couples may not want to always be together working long hours, but for us it can be great. Now I am not saying everyday is great, but she still loves me so most of them are great. Really I could not do what we do without her; she is truly my best-friend. We run our small business out of our 1900 sq ft shop here on our property in Beautiful DeMotte, Indiana. DeMotte is a very small town, so small the newspaper only comes out once a week. We raised 6 kids between us and now have 10 grand-kids, with one great-grand-kid; yes I am an old grandpa (update we are now great-grand-parents). Believe me there are days I feel it too.

This brings me to the Chuck E Byrd Wall Decals our Etsy store here. Making wall art from vinyl is not how we started out, but it is funny how life has a way of moving you in directions you never thought about. In an effort to learn more about vectored graphics I came upon a website with folks that really cared about helping those that put in the effort to learn. I do not know the reason but after a time they asked me to be a moderator and so my life in graphic design began. The items we sell here at Chuck E Byrd Wall Decals are indeed created by either myself or my sweet wife. She designs from a completely different place than I do; she is very abstract whereas I design more from a rigid line form.

Our work day is long, but we love the work we do. I have said that even if we hit the lotto, we would still create wall decals. We would make them with bigger equipment and faster computers but we would still do this because it is not so much about the money (though we all have to make a living) it is about (for us) doing something creative.
