As mentioned, I’ve personally shot every image in this collection throughout my travels. My most frequently visited cities in recent years have been Philadelphia, New York, New Orleans and Miami, so there are a lot of shots from those cities in particular. I’ve done some overseas travel in the past (often to China), but I’m happiest staying right here.

What I shoot is typically some combination of cracked, peeled, rusted, stained, painted or weathered subject matter with an intentionally graphic composition. When processed with the right filters, these images achieve depth, contrast and dramatic details that give them a perfectly unrefined and “dirty” look.

All images are edited and processed in my home studio, then output, mounted and framed by a professional photo lab on the west coast.
