Announcement
Hello everyone! welcome to my tiny corner of the Internet! Collaboration and creating with clients are of upmost importance to me.
I specialize in special event floral preservations. I have worked with resin for almost 5 years and dry florals using professional methods to keep them looking their very best.
To inquire or book your preservations please follow these steps:
1. Please first send a message to confirm and reserve date after wedding to send florals.
2. Next, purchase the $75 dollar deposit to secure the date. Once this is done, I will send specific shipping instructions for the flowers.
3. I will create a listing for your preservation once the flowers have arrived and client decides on what pieces they would like.
Please reach out in a message with any questions you may have on ordering.
If you'd like multiple items, let me know and I will bundle everything into one listing to help save on shipping costs. This is important to note if you want to add on coasters, ring holders, etc. to a larger preservation piece.
If you are purchasing a floral preservation for a gift for someone else, please make sure to attach their shipping address and confirm dates the flowers will be shipped to me to preserve.
If you'd like a custom digital gift card in a custom price, please message me and ill create one for you.
Thank you!! happy shopping! Check out more of my work on Instagram @kkresinart

Frequently asked questions
Can bouquets from past weddings/events be preserved?
Yes! I accept previously dried bouquets and doing this will also save on the shipping costs of overnighting fresh florals which can range anywhere from $50 to $250 and up.
Some styles that require floral pressing like coasters, may not be available due to crushing, but most 3D preservation styles work great!
How will my flowers dry?
Most all flowers do not dry in the same hues as they are when they are fresh.
Reds will darken to a burgundy/ very dark red to almost black. Purples will darken drastically. Whites will turn cream, tan, or even to a nude/opaque shade depending on the flower, and if there is prior bruising to the flower petals that area will turn opaque. Previously dried flowers can also change effect once liquid epoxy resin is added. Some that are pressed can change in appearance as well.
Tray weight and information on handles
The larger tray styles 12-inch x 16-inch and the round 12-inch tray can range anywhere from 8-12lbs depending on how much resin is used. All trays with handles are decorative use only. Please always lift all of the trays from the bottom, and not by the handles as they are decorative only.
What happens to leftover flowers, if there are any?
Rarely there are any flowers leftover, as we pick out the very best of the bouquet for preservations, but flowers that are not used in your art piece can be sent back with your order upon request.
Request must be made at the time of flower delivery. If you want them returned to you it will be an additional fee of $20 to cover higher shipping costs.
What is the floral preservation process like?
The first step is to make your reservation by sending a message to coordinate dates to send florals. Once you book your reservation you will receive a confirmation email with our expert shipping instructions. Once we make a listing for you, the full order may be purchased any time before the wedding or day the bouquet is shipped out to our preservation center.
Once your wedding day has finally arrived, you will ship your flowers on the next business day according to our shipping instructions. If you choose to hang dry your own florals, that is ok too, and you can send them once dry.
Once we receive your we will notify you they arrived safely. Once your flowers are carefully dried (about 2-3 weeks) we will send 2 layout options to choose
How long does the process take?
It takes about 2-3 weeks to fully dry the flowers, then the layouts and casting of resin can begin. I try to keep turnaround time under 10 weeks, pieces are usually done sooner, but can also take longer during peak months, especially October-December.
