Graphic designer and mom turned jewelry maker

Hi, I'm Kiera Pohl of Kiera P Handmade Jewelry.

I was freelance graphic designer for 10 years when work that had been steady was suddenly being sent overseas when my son was small. Luckily my husband's job could sustain us, so we decided I would just concentrate on being a mom for awhile instead of trying to find work and having to pay for expensive daycare. My lovely daughter came and things continued in this way.

Once the kids started to be more self-sufficient, I started to look for things to satisfy my need for creativity while still being able to remain at home with the kids. I send out valentines every year, which I love to do, and also make halloween costumes for my kids. I started making jewelry and kind of fell down a rabbit hole with that! It's become my favorite thing to do and I love to challenge myself with new ideas.

And here I am today!
