Mimi Hammer, foremost there is Camille, a young Montreal designer, talented seamstress keen on creation and aesthetics. Accompanied by her accomplice and life partner Joao, a resourceful administrator and precise accountant. Together they form the duo of entrepreneurs at the head of a swimwear clothing company whose name is creating a buzz and is present on more and more beaches.

Mimi Hammer offers classic and contemporary swimsuits exquisitely refined, playing with the traditional ways of fabricating. The designer is inspired by the everyday wardrobe to give these near lingerie a more than justified title of dressed attire. She infuses in her creations the childish desires of a young girl much as those of a respectable and desirable woman. This results in work of candid and casual poetry, as fresh as a sea breeze.

OUR FABRICS

Fabrics composition may vary slightly from one swimsuit to another. Most of them are made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. At Mimi Hammer, we are also aware of the impact of our choices on the environment and on workers around the world who seek fairness. In this context, we deal with an Italian company that produces a range of ecofriendly fabrics made of 88% polyamide and 12% elastane. The 88% is made from 100% recycled polyamide produced from post-industrial materials, such as fishing nets, rigid voile and carpet fluff, otherwise destined to the landfill. An opportunity to offer elegance and glamor in soft, light and strong confections, respectful of Mother Nature.
