Grew up in Ft Worth, Texas
Inspired on Maui, Hawaii
My love of watersports took me to Maui were I spent 10 yrs, a lot of it in and on the water were I experienced up close the incredible marine life that thrives around Maui. I Became interested in metal art while waiting to get a cup of coffee from Anthony's in Paia.
In the morning when the tourist buses stopped on their way to Hana, the line at Anthony's
would stretch out on to the sidewalk in front of an art gallery called Maui Hands. On the walls of Maui Hands were these cool metal wall sculptures that captured the ocean and Maui. I have a long history with tools and creating things so I decided to try metal. And so it began.
