Making life a little more flavorful

I have been an admirer and collector of miniatures since I was a child. To me, miniatures were tiny treasures and each had a story to tell. And my collection was a way to show people what I was about and what I liked.

Barbies, Cracker Jacks and bubblegum charms were an extension of my miniature obsession. Miniatures don't take up room and they travel well, so they have remained with me into my adulthood. Items for sale in my shop are not from my collection, but are fabulous finds that I have come across or have created because of my love of miniatures.

In art school I fell in love with mixed media. The freedom of using whatever you want to make something was an amazing concept to me. It trained me to look at things in a different way, to look at everything as a potential medium, and to examine how I can upcycle something instead of throwing it away.

One Teaspoon Vanilla combines my love for miniatures and mixed media. Infused with a bit of fun and humor. Hopefully making life a little more flavorful.
