Owl Tree Farm Handmade is the natural outgrowth of living a rural, farm life. Our 11.65 acre farm is home to cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, and dairy goats, but is also home to myriad wild creatures who share this beautiful space with us. It is in this shared space that I find the most peace.
I launched Owl Tree Farm Handmade a few years ago from my tiny sewing room, but it didn’t feel right until I realized that I was trying too hard to guess what people might want. It wasn’t until I decided I had to create for my own Soul that I truly found happiness in my making as a business. I now look to Nature and my farm life for inspiration and make what I’m moved to create, slowly and mostly by hand.
Through Owl Tree Farm Handmade I strive to provide handmade products inspired by nature to encourage people to live slower, simpler lives. I wish to shine a light on living a simple life that values doing over having, quality over quantity. I try to make things both beautiful and useful that might encourage you to slow down, connect with family and nature, and live a life of simplicity and contentment.
