Announcement
Welcome to Ray and Karen's shop- We have Picture Frames, and Cribbage boards, cutting boards and wood burning art that we have made in our wood shop.
As of April 1,2019 Ray and Karen have reopened this shop since we finally moved but he is limited in what he can make as he has a health issue that has slowed him down tremendously. Please convo if you’d like to see something specific and thank you for patience.
Shipping is priority mail. But it is now included in the price “free shipping”.
Priority has insurance on the order so be sure to take pictures if ever an item comes damaged. Print off your receipt and take it to your local post office. SAVE ALL OF THE PACKING so it shows I did a good job and you will get a refund! We will send out another shipment ASAP usually as soon as you get the claim we have them remade so communicate! This has only happened a few times.
If you have any questions or requests please feel free to convo us! Karen often does the conversations as Ray is pretty computer-illiterate. Thank you for looking. A lot of the frames Ray makes more than one at a time so often We have several from the same wood and would look similar... if you are looking for a set, ASK!! We may be able to help you out.

5 out of 5 starsWow, wow, wow, always such amazing craftsmanship. The frames themselves are art and have an aliveness to them. I was working on a time crunch and shipping was in perfect timing. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Does This frame include glass or backing
No we do not include glass or backing
Glass would take more care and cost to ship and is easily obtained at a windshield shop for the same price we pay.
Backing is subjective to what the buyer is putting in the frame and since we don’t know what it is or how thick we do not include the backing. It can be a piece of cardboard or foam board recycled
Will my art work fit?
The back of the frame has about 1/2” thick rabbit cut where the mat, backing ,art or canvas goes.
Honestly the back doesn’t have to look pretty. On the wall you only see the front!
However in the old days people covered the back with paper.
How do I keep my art in place?
There are no tabs on the back because we have no way of knowing if you are putting a picture and glass or three deep mat, picture and glass or a canvas that sticks out.
Buyer is able to use a drill and put holes that are half the length of finish nails in the right place and slide the nails in to hold their art in place. Painters tape also works and does not mark up the wood. Or buyer can find a local framer to install professionally.
If I buy more frames can I get a deal
These frames are handmade and not made by bulk so we are making money on the sale and this selling more for less is counterproductive but we do put frames together to ship less expensively and ALWAYS refund overages of more than &3.00
