At Spirit, we have been sourcing ethical products from India, silks and cottons and have sought to encourage the empowerment of women in the male dominated society that is India. These brave women fight each day for fair wages for their hard work and industry and should be able to work in a safe environment afforded to us in the west. My business partner, and friend, in Rajasthan and I are delighted to bring our products to the marketplace. Our products are made up of bedspreads, cushions, wall hangings, shawls and latkans (door hangings). All are made by hand by local women.
