My name is Debora Baudoni, I'm the creator of The Black Pinafore, an independent women's clothing brand inspired by original 40s and 50s patterns.
In my shop you will find small series and unique pieces of clothing, all made by hand, as it once was, with high quality tissues, original buttons and buckles, that give that retro feel.
Each item is entirely designed, cut and sewn by me.
Often, the ideas for a dress, are suggested to me by old photographs and fashion catalogs. So i propose clothes of daily inspirations, many of which are sewn adjusting modern proportions to old vintage patterns. I have almost 600 in my private collection !!!
Whereas every woman has their own proportions, I prefer to recreate the pattern and work on order, with measures provided by customer or better by me when is possible.
However in my shop, you can find clothes with standard measures ready to ship, that can be replicated in different tissues.
