I've wanted a writing desk like this for about as long as I can remember. I finally got the opportunity to purchase one, and this one is a beauty! Excellent condition for the age (photos were accurate and helpful). I love it! The desk was packaged exceptionally well, and the seller tucked in a small surprise consisting of a bit of stationery to go with it. I've used it (carefully) and I'm so glad I bought it

The box arrived quickly and very well packaged. The shop owner was also incredible to speak with, quick to answer questions, and super friendly and helpful. The box itself is in good shape to have been loved and used for more than 100 years!

This was bought as a gift for someone and in general I was really happy with the box I received and the person I was giving it to really loved it. I was considering going with a reproduction writing box, but I’m so glad I went the antique route instead. There were a few small issues that I didn’t think were adequately documented in the photos, but none of these problems were serious, they were just a bit of a surprise. The package arrived safely and in time for the holiday, although the box was literally disintegrating when I picked it up at the post office. But these are pretty minor issues and overall I’m really pleased.

The desk is beautiful, exactly matches the description and photos provided by the seller. It was wrapped and packaged well and even though the box was beaten up during delivery, the desk was unharmed due to the packaging the seller took the time to do. The desk was received quickly as well.
