After I graduated from Memphis College of Art, I continued working as a Visual Merchandiser for a local boutique. I loved my job, but without school, I missed having my own creative outlet.

One day, while searching for light-weight, delicate earrings, I had the idea to create my own. My ears are tiny and require ultra-light-weight earrings. While playing around with some wire, I discovered my design. Then, I was hooked! I made 20 earrings the first day. Pretty soon, my family and friends were requesting earrings and the Paper Balloon Shop was born!

These days, during my toddlers' nap time, I retreat to my studio and start creating. The original earring design has evolved to include different metals and beads. I have also added unique necklaces, crystal tea infusers, and hand-crafted wood decor! I took woodworking classes in school and love to go out to the shop to cut out churches and houses with our saw.

In March 2016, our little twin girls, Ava and Zoey arrived....and in April 2017 we welcomed baby Noah! I love to be able to stay home with my little ones and help support my family with the Paper Balloon Shop. Your purchases are helping to make that possible.
