I grew up on the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Toronto when I was fourteen. I made my first sewing machine project when I was eleven and have never stopped enjoying the art of sewing.

I enjoy a variety of art forms, but truly have a passion for textile art and jewellery making. After many years of creating for friends and family I established Verona Collections in 1994.

Verona Collections started in my Toronto apartment and resulted in a retail location in Toronto; however, I now work from my home studio in Shanty Bay, Ontario. I enjoy the calm tranquil environment and find inspiration from the natural surroundings.

Over the years Verona Collections has had many changes and continues to evolve. However, at the heart of my designs is the belief that fashion should be an expression of the individual.

My designs are original, handmade, limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces.
