Announcement I always refund any shipping costs that are $1.25 or more over the actual cost of shipping. If you have any questions about shipping costs being too high, please ask me, or send a note when you order.

I have a store here on our farmette that you can visit!! It is open Fridays, 9am - 8pm and by appt. Check my Facebook page, where I will post, should there be a reason why the store isn't open on a particular Friday. You can now see and touch all my plant and wool fibers and yarns! I will work at having the pattern reminder notions that I make in the store, but if there is a number or abbreviation set, or row counter that you would like, make sure to message me before coming, so that I can make sure that I make it and have it available, because I usually custom make those items and they take a little time.

I make and ship everything myself. I ship 6 days a week.

Having this little fiber business has been a real blessing to me and my family, and I hope you enjoy looking around.

I have limited international shipping to a few countries, because I recently had 2 international packages get lost in transit and I just decided to limit international shipping to cut the cost of loss of packages.

I am focusing on using domestic wool yarns milled locally in Pennsylvania. Proud to be made in the USA and in PA!

The Simple Life

Growing up on a farm in central Pennsylvania, I learned to crochet from my grandmother at a young age and began selling my finished items at a local artisan village when I was older. I worked for many years with women that had fiber animals and spun their own yarn and I always found these women so interesting and wanted to try it myself!

Finally my family moved to a small homestead and it allowed me to finally fulfill my dream of raising my children on a farm and be blessed to be able to raise blue faced leicester sheep.

It is a wonderful thing to be able to share what you enjoy with others and it has been so rewarding to be able to run a fiber business out of my home through Etsy. I hope you enjoy my work, as much as I enjoy making it. You can also follow Walnut Farm Designs on Pinterest and Facebook.
