    Owner, Maker, Stonemason

We are Fifth Generation stonemasons with established roots tracing back to 1865. I personally like to craft pieces that are representative of Ireland in my spare time so have just started the Currach range using Wicklow granite for the boat and other stone from Ireland as bases

Welcome to Wicklow Granite,

We are 5th generation stonemasons and from a piece of Ireland would like to Sculpture a piece of Ireland for you.

It is important to stress that each stone is different and may need to be shaped in a different way to show its best properties. If I crack or split a stone to get a rough face, it will crack in the way that nature decides and reveal its own strong points.
When I sculpture granite I can get the pieces to look roughly the same shape as you see in the images but the grain, texture and colour will always vary, that is natures way, when you are working with something that was created by nature millions of years ago you wantto let it tell the story.
I am only a 5th generation stonemason and love the way each piece of work I do is different and being assisted by nature.

So the reality is I can not create two sculptures exactly the same.

Shipping

Stone is heavy and thus has a shipping cost that is directly related to weight.
To keep shipping costs down we use the Irish Postal Service. All information on shipping costs is contained in the Irish Postal Services website: http://www.anpost.ie/AnPost/PostalRates/Standard+Post.htm .

Post from Ireland reaches most worldwide destination in between 4 to 10 days but officially Irish postal services claim that it can take up to 45 days. Please be patient if your item takes longer than usual.

I recommend to all my customers to use Registered mail which is slightly more expensive than standard but is more secure. Please enquire if you prefer registered/singed delivery with insurance.

If you wish to upgrade to registered post, simply convo and I can send you a revised invoice. Also convo me please if you would like a quote for express international post.

ANY OTHER TAXES OR DUTIES

Any VAT (Irish Sales Tax) due will already be included in the quoted price. Any possible extra customs/duties are, as is usual but unfortunately, the responsibility of the buyer.
