My Christmas ornaments are round thick heavy weight ceramic. They are 2.5in in diameter fitting perfectly in your hand, due to their size they are not too heavy for a tree. They are very durable, yet can break if they fall from a far distance on a hard surface. I have yet to have one break, if your ornament breaks I will gladly remake it for you.

I currently have one ornament style in stock. I would gladly shop around for your desired style, and we can have one shipped to me. Please keep in mind that the larger the ornament, the more fragile it becomes due to weight. Larger ornaments tend to be made up of thin brittle ceramic. I can paint on ceramic, porcelain, or glass.

Yes! My mugs are baked and sealed to last forever. They come ready to use. I do recommend gently hand washing fine art collectibles in warm water. They are not microwave safe.

Yes! I can create a custom listing for you for a gift certificate. I will email a printable version and mail a physical copy as well. The recipient may contact me anytime on Etsy before the expiration date with their gift certificate number.

I prefer to work from one clear photo to capture the overall likeness and details of a pet. Referencing multiple photos tends to create a loss of likeness due to different camera angles and lighting in each photo.

A photo taken in natural light and out of direct sunlight will show your pet’s true colors. And a photo taken at their eye level is great for a portrait. It is best when crisp details can be seen when zooming in on the photo. If you have a blurry photo, or one that doesn’t show true colors, I recommend going with a black and white graphite drawing. If you have trouble choosing a photo please feel free to send multiples my way and we can choose one together.

Combining references tends to create a more illustrative piece.

The urns that I have in stock are white ceramic jars with wood lids that contain silicone ring seals. If you'd like a different color or style, we can have it shipped directly to me. I can paint on glass, glazed ceramic/stoneware, or porcelain that is glazed. Please note that I can not modify pieces that are being shipped to me. I only paint portraits and add text to the urns. All of my text is hand painted directly onto the surface. Please have the original seller of the jar fully insure the package that is being shipped to my studio.

Since all of my pieces are personalized commissions, I do not offer refunds. I do send photos of the final piece before shipping. I do not send photos of my Christmas ornaments due to challenges when photographing shiny round surfaces. However, I can send multiple photos upon request.

I double box my ceramics for safe shipping. If a piece does happen to arrive damaged, or is lost in transit, please take photos and keep all packaging materials on hand for insurance purposes. Each shipment is fully insured and comes with tracking.
I ship all of my art on paper flat between boards to protect them from bending, warping, or denting. Please keep yournpaper flat until it is framed.
