By 2015, we had felt the full weight of society’s pressure to succeed. Finish a degree, make six figures, and continue down the road of conformity. This level of “success” felt further and further away as we drifted into our seventh year of attempting to finish our college degrees. Then, we acknowledged something that we already knew. We can measure our own success. More importantly, we took to heart that the concept that happiness is nothing more than a state of being rather than something we achieve. We looked deep within ourselves to develop a new measure of success and directly related our measure of success to our level of happiness. To do this, we had to consider the things in life that made us happy.

We love to laugh, draw, and to create. We also love nature and animals. Obviously our shop dogs can attest to that fact. Screen printing was a no brainer for us. Print making allowed us to create designs to entice laughter in those around us. Our designs almost always involve some kind of creature with a twist of humor or whit. We draw inspiration from the world around us whether that be politics, veganism, or just the plain mad respect for other artists. Printing completely changed our perspective on life. Our shop created an alternate path for us. It created the possibility of another life for us. Another Life T-shirt Co. was born. Although screen printing is the primary method to our madness, we also enjoy and dabble a little into other types of printing. Thus, ALT Printing Co. is the name that gives a nod to our beginning but looked to our future.

We love what we do and even more so enjoy sharing the craft of print making with others. It is our sincerest hope that our one of a kind hand printed pieces brings you joy and laughter every time to you wear them. We aim for every printing class participant to walk away with pride in what they have just made and the bug to continue to create. Happiness is contagious and we want you to catch it.
