Why don't you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final here at BOHO FLOURISH. Why is that?
We are sourcing vintage Persian rugs and having them professionally cleaned before offering them to you, our customer. We guarantee our rugs are from a smoke free / pet free environment.
With a return, there is no guarantee what kind of environment the rug was in. Therefore, to maintain our guarantee, we would need to clean the rug again. The cost of a return would force us to increase our pricing beyond our mission of affordability.
Please know that we take clear pictures, and offer detailed descriptions so you know exactly what you are getting. We welcome any and all questions you have, and look forward to doing business with you!
Sizing details
All measurements are in centimeters, as that is the most accurate unit of measurement for our rugs.
Care instructions
Our rugs come to you clean, but if ever you need to clean your rug in the future, please DO NOT steam clean. Because wool and all natural dyes are used in the construction of Persian rugs, it is pertinent that you use a professional cleaning service that specializes in vintage Persian rugs. Using a conventional rug cleaning service or rental unit will most likely result in shrinking, and bleeding of color.
Are all of your rugs Persian?
Yes. All of our rugs are vintage, handmade Persian. If ever we offer a rug made in another part of the world, it will be clearly noted in the title / description, and will ALWAYS be handmade.
Do you offer local pickup?
Absolutely! If you are in the Atlanta, Georgia or Denver, Colorado region, we are more than happy to offer local pickup. Please message us for details before, or directly after purchase.
Why is there color variation present in the rug?
Color variation is very typical of vintage Persian rugs. Depending on the source of water used when washing and dying the wool, there can be varying levels of copper or iron present. For example as the rug ages, the red dyes will fade into various shades of brassy and crimson hues. Because these rugs would take as long as 1 year to make, the possibility of different water sources having been used is extremely high.
