I'm so glad you found Cheerdrop in the vast sea of Etsy! I'm excited to have the opportunity to show you what Cheerdrop is all about.

I've loved rocks since an early age...watching my nephews and step kids on a beach and I actually think all kids love rocks! I even tried to sell them door to door when I was a kid (always ready to make a buck back then). Fast forward to 2004 and I put those rock hounding skills to work when I opened my first jewelry business, Ruby & Jade.

At that time, I focused on design events, bridal, custom design and refreshing jewelry for some pretty great clients. I was then lured back into marketing but after a while, I couldn’t stop thinking about being back in the beads! So I left the corporate world, took a sabbatical (highly recommended if possible!) and am now back at it again adding metalsmithing and casting to the mix to create eclectic pieces and offer others the opportunity to choose their stones and be a part of the design process.

Why ‘cheerdrop’?...

I have a tendency to wear the same pieces of jewelry all the time. I love them so much and when I put them on, I feel a little prettier, a little more confident and a little more put together. In my experience, and likely yours, the smallest and most unexpected things bring those moments of joy and happiness to our lives. My hope with ‘cheerdrop’ is that the jewelry and design events give you a chance to create, take time out and help you give a little extra something to yourself and others.
