Welcome back to Daisy Lane Design!
It has been a while since I've been active in this space, but I am excited to return with a new vision and purpose. What you will find in the shop are a lot of items that have been designed from repurposed patchwork and hand-embellished materials, custom listing opportunities, fabrics that I would love to pass on to you at great prices as I streamline my sewing room and classes and patterns so that you can make some of these items yourself! If you'd like to hear more about what's going on in the shop as it's happing, please follow me on Instagram @daisylanedesign.

Hi there! Welcome to Daisy Lane Design. I am your designer, sewer, boxer-upper and post office run girl. When I'm not whipping something up on the machine or searching for the next great fabric combo, I also get to be mom, wife, and doggie mommy. :)

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Turn around time on custom orders is generally 3 weeks (21 business days). Part of the work involved in creating a custom order is communicating with you the buyer to make sure that all the little details that will make your order special are correct before I ever begin construction. This takes a little more time on the front end, and I want to make sure to get it right, so I give myself plenty of time to be in touch.
Sizing details
Most items have their measurements published in the details of the listing. I try my best to provide detailed and accurate descriptions, including measurements and pictures that provide some indication of scale, where possible. However, if you have a question about size or need more pictures to help you make a decision, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm happy to help!
Care instructions
Items in the shop are best cared for if they are hand-washed and air dried. However, most items can be machine wash, unless otherwise indicated. I would recommend air drying. Warm iron can be used for pressing, but not on the plastic windows of the cash envelopes, vinyl bottoms of the knitting totes or teeth of zippers.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All constructed items from my shop are sent in brown paper packaging, tied up with a fabric scrap. You will find a Daisy Lane Design business card with contact information on the front, and your invoice tucked into the back.
All fabric by the yard purchases, are wrapped in a plastic bag with the same business card and invoice.
If you prefer a gift receipt instead, please just let me know. A personalized note can be added. No extra charge.
Wholesale availability
Daisy Lane Design offers small-batch wholesale pricing on a case by case basis. Please inquire via convo if you are interested.
International Shipping
I use priority flat rate shipping envelopes for my cash envelope sets. These envelopes ensure the quickest, most reliable delivery to you as a customer, and provide me with detailed information as well as protection as a seller. It also means that whether you add extra envelopes, a strap, or card slots to your order, the price of your shipping will not increase.
Unfortunately, international flat rate shipping envelopes are expensive. I have added an first class envelope option to Canada. I will look into first class rates for other countries upon request, but recommend the priority shipping. Tracking is available on all packages until they arrive in country. Once shipped, I can't be responsible for lost, delayed or damaged items.
Daisy Lane Design's Sell What You Sew Policy
I allow individuals to sell what they make using my shop's patterns. By making and offering for sale any item using my patterns, you agree to the following:
All photos, descriptions, text, templates, instructions and procedures in the pattern belong to Allison Williams of Daisy Lane Design and may not be used except for the construction of finished items.
You may use any Daisy Lane Design pattern to construct finished items that you intend to sell, as long as you are an individual, home-based business, and the items are handmade by you.
Patterns may not be used to make mass-produced items.
You may not distribute or sell the pattern.
You are responsible for any US or international regulations on finished items.
Can fabric be returned?
Full-price fabric that has not been cut into, laundered, or ironed may be returned from smoke-free, pet-free environments. Basically, if you return it to me in the condition it is received, I can accept it as a return. Returns are dependent upon receipt of item, and inspection of returned fabrics. If I cannot resell what you return, then I won't be able to refund your purchase.
I am unable to refund or accept returns on sale and clearance fabrics. Thank you for your understanding.
I want you to be happy with your fabric purchase so please ask any questions you have before you purchase. Colors appear differently on different screens. I try my best to represent each fabric's true color.
