Hello, my name is Darlene & I am a Photographer living in NY who is in absolute love with my son Leonardo. Yes, motherhood is super tuff but because of motherhood and it’s struggles it has helped me reach for my goals and dreams. This Etsy business is a part of that goal and dream, and I hope to build it into the artist platform and financial avenue I so deeply desire. I am also an animal lover with clear favoritism towards dogs, raccoons, birds, goats/sheep and horses- but I love all creatures. Expect super scary long centipedes aannnnndddd maybe a few creepy crawlers. I am deeply passionate about rescue and the importance of saving animals in shelters. This lesson was taught to me after purchasing an animal in 2016 from a pet store, against my better judgement- resulting in the death of our puppy Oswald from failure to be vaccinated. Through this pain for fighting for Oswald’s life and the transition back into the power and importance of adoption, I found my Lucky dog! This leads me into the importance of this shop as it gives me great pleasure to announce that with your purchase, in honor of Lucky’s life as a shelter dog on death row; we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to local and global shelters! Lucky was truly a beautiful soul and I believe beautiful souls could be found in any living organism.
