Here is a recent interview:
How do you describe your work?
Textiles and custom wearable art featuring rescue pets and rescue animals

What inspired you to start creating?
I am inspired by rescue, recycling and conservation narratives.

What are you trying to communicate with your art?
That animals are an important part of our world. I pay close attention to use of animal imagery rhetoric and the power of empathy but also dehumanization.

What’s your favorite thing you’ve ever created?
My Angry Cats and Scapegoat underwear.

Funny story about the underwear. I found myself envying the underwear making skills of “Orange is the New Black” tv inmates.

Also: For me it was love at first sight with underwear elastic.

What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Making someone incredibly happy with a custom made, wearable piece of art.

What's the most indispensable items in your studio?
Scissors
Seam ripper

Where do you find inspiration for your art? Vintage textiles and rescue animal stories.

Is there an element of art you enjoy working with most? Why? Mashing up Color and Pattern

What advice do you have for anyone thinking about starting their own business crafting/creating art? Everyone should make something. It opens up a whole new world. It also teaches patience and humility.

What's the last great book you read?
I am reading the brilliant Lynda Barry’s “Syllabus” .

Do you collect anything? Carnival Chalkware Figurines. Its ugly and its so weirdly painted: I love it so much.

Open question: Tell us an interesting story or tidbit about anything. What do you want to tell us that we didn’t ask?

The Angry Cat project was born in the aftermath of the 2016 US election. It features photographs of angry, fierce, stink-eyed felines crowd sourced from family, friends, colleagues, and social media followers.
