Why does it cost so much to mail just one button?
Buttons, though quite light, are not flexible, and for shipping fall under a separate category than say, paper. Though it is kind of expensive ( around $3) to ship one button, the price does not increase for multiple buttons (< 10 depending on size.) There is no markup whatsoever on shipping cost. In fact, Etsy has negotiated slightly better rates than individuals can get at the Post Office and these savings are passed on to our customers.
I haven't received my item yet. What should I do?
The first step is to check the tracking information. Every purchase made will be provided with a tracking number upon shipping. You can find this information under your "Purchases and Review" under "You" in the upper right on the desktop display of Etsy.
If the information shows that is has been delivered, please contact your local post office with the tracking number.
If it shows that it has not been delivered, please contact me through Etsy Conversations. If you are in the US, please wait 7 business days from the shipping date to contact me.
If an item is shown to be delivered based on the tracking information, I cannot offer a refund or replacement.
Do you collect sales tax?
I collect sales tax on all orders shipped within New York State, at the rate of 8.875%.
