Who I am...
Hello! My name is Yvonne Dripps, and I'm a mom of three fun-loving, creative youngsters and the wife of bike commuting, user experience designer. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a former home economics teacher, I love making things from scratch. I’ve been an ingredients-scouring label reader for as long as I can remember. I have made homemade organic baby food, used cloth diapers for my babies, and have made homemade cleaning and body care products.

How I started to make soap...
About 12 years ago I took a cold process soap making class and was surprised to learn that the soap had to ‘cure’ for four to six weeks before I could lather up! My hobby took a backseat to childrearing and homeschooling, but I concocted lots other home and beauty products in effort to avoid harsh chemicals and synthetic ingredients. And I like concocting homemade things anyway!😉

I enjoy making natural, cold process soap and sharing it with others so they can experience skin and body care products free of phthalates, parabens, sodium laurel sulfates, petrochemicals, animal testing. I also wanted to be more careful about what we're washing down the drain and be intentional about Eco--conscious practices.

Why I enjoy making soap...
Our skin is our largest organ. Ever since I learned that it can absorb much of what we put on it, I decided to make my family's balms and soaps. And I happen to REALLY enjoy researching ingredients, writing recipes, and getting a little creative with a used-every- day product like soap.

I love seeing friends and family enjoy my soaps and balms, knowing that they are natural, biodegradable, and earth friendly. I feel grateful to be able to donate 5% of profits to the community resources that enriched my family as well as worldly causes.

How I chose ‘Flourish’...
I have always concerned myself with cultivating a healthy environment to help my family grow and be well, choosing Flourish for my soap company seemed a perfect fit. This happens to be one of the dictionary definitions.

Giving back...
In effort to replenish resources and support the places that help my family flourish, I donate 5% of monthly revenue to a rotating cause: Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota, Animal Humane Society, American Red Cross, Como Zoo, Hennepin County and St. Paul Libraries, World Vision.
