The leaves were folded in half to make them fit in a too-small box and were ruined by the time the box arrived. One leaf has survived and may come back, the remainder are dead. Will re-order from a different source.

Something OLd can be nEW again. A chipped and discarded fitz and floyd mug is a re-purposed plant vessel.
Something OLd can be nEW again. A old coffee tin is re-used to display a favorite garden succullent.

Something OLd can be nEW again. A broken garden candle pic finds new purpose when paired with an easy plant.

Something OLd can be NEw again!

After several years of working a desk job in the plant industry, I participated in my first plant and garden show at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida. The gardens were a joy to be at and I met and enjoyed people I would otherwise have not interacted with. It was a family affair as my family supported my efforts physically and otherwise. (They continue to be my support team here on Etsy as well.)
I found joy and motivation in connecting with nature and others!
My sale items consisted of low maintenance plants that I had nurtured in my yard. I potted and paired these plants with re-purposed and found objects.
Many of these found objects are beautiful on their own and in their own right! Some are offered at my plant and garden events in South Florida for my friends and customers to create their own pairings.
I came to realize a love for things of old; a love for things not quite perfect due to loving use; a love for things with a storied history. Etsy is my chance to share this sentiment. My hope is that each FIND for my Etsy customer brings as much joy as it did for me!
