Royal Dolge on Feb 18, 2024
5 out of 5 starsIt is very nice but I have to resize it because of the recipe cards are bigger was no big deal to resize it. Everything is really nice.

thank you for your feedback. something that could have happened was either the box or the cards could have scaled up or down if you made edits to the svg instead of the pdf file with a third party program that uses different default settings which will override the sacking settings on import. To prevent this please use the pdf file to lock the settings across programs.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to resize the design?
Yes and No.
Yes= Depending on the material you use you may have to resize slots, tabs, or joints if you are using a larger or smaller thickness material then what is stated on designs that have slots, tabs, or joints.
No= If you are using the same sized material thickness or if it is a design that is flat and states in the description that any size material will work.
What machine can I cut this file on?
I used a Glowforge laser cutter to cut and make each design. You will be able to cut these on other laser engravers/cutters as well but you may need to change the line thickness and will want to make sure your laser engraver can grey scale.
What happens if I see the file cut the cut line twice?
This means you will have to change the line thickness to match your corresponding laser cutter you are using. Some lasers use a line thickness of 0.001, some 0.1, and some at just 1. I make all lines in files a thickness of 1 pt.
How do I stop the file from resizing in my 3rd party (Non Illustrator) Program?
If resizing of the file happens, this means you are using a program that is different from illustrator (the original program) to open and edit the SVG files. This occurs because your programs page/document settings is causing the file to scale down in size. To prevent this, please use the included PDF versions of the files with your program so it can "lock in" and maintain the correct page/document settings across 3rd party programs. Some examples of 3rd party programs are Inkscape, lightburn, rino, coreldraw, affinity, and any others that are not Adobe Illustrator. If you are using any program other than Adobe Illustrator to edit a file you must use the PDF document to prevent your programs custom settings from changing the scale.
