I began weaving in 2014. That year, I'd decided to make all of my Christmas presents instead of just buying "stuff". My first loom was made of pallet wood and crooked nails but it did the trick. One weaving for my sister turned into another and then another. Before I knew it, I was posting sales on my Instagram because I couldn't stop creating and then I had so many I ventured onto Etsy. Weaving has become such a release. I'd never thought of myself as a creative nor had I ever really tried much art at all. But then I discovered weaving and it's uncovered a side of myself I never knew I had. I have a great love for the creative process of weaving, of taking a mess of yarn and turning it into art that fills my home and if I'm lucky enough someone else's as well. Each piece is made with so much joy and reflects a little part of my heart.
