I am very passionate about beekeeping, and have been for many years now. My apiaries are in Necton, Norfolk in the UK. The banner at the top of my shop page is a photo of Queen Mary and her offspring, the white mark on her thorax is to identify that she was born in 2021. Each of my Langstroth Hives will house in excess of 50,000 honey bees and their Queen in the height of the summer!

The beeswax I use is a byproduct from the honey harvest and rather than discard it, I put it to good use making beeswax candles. No waste!
Beeswax is a natural product and contains no chemicals, just honey and pollen. I do not add any scents to my candles but they do have a subtle smell of honey. Beeswax candles have a bright, warm tone flame and have a longer burn time than paraffin or soy. They also help clean the air by releasing negative ions which help to destroy the positively charged allergens and pollutants in your air, and they are believed to help people with airborne allergies and asthma.

So it's a win win with Beeswax candles - they are environmentally friendly and have health benefits too.

The colour of the natural/honey candles may vary slightly depending on what the bees are foraging on. The ivory candles are produced by leaving the yellow beeswax to naturally bleach in the sun. Zero chemicals are added.

All my candles are hand poured so there may be some teeny tiny 'perfect' imperfections which will not affect their use or detract from their beauty!
