Grawn Family Farm is a family run business by Jerod, myself and our three young children.

Jerod has always been fascinated by honey bees. When a back injury ended Jerod's masonry work, he was blessed with a job as a beekeeper and the love of beekeeping began. After working with different beekeepers, we decided to build our own business and take care of our own hives in the ways that we feel are better for the bees. Jerod is a caring and honest beekeeper, working to make sure that our bees are healthy and strong. We are teaching what we learn to our children so that they can also care for these magnificent creatures.

During Jerod's first year as a beekeeper, I became pregnant with baby #3 and decided to follow what I felt I was being called to do and work from home instead of continuing in the classroom. I am slowly helping more and more with the actual beekeeping. I am surprised at how peaceful I find the buzzing of the bees. I am also the party favor, lip balm, salve, lotion, (and more) maker. Beekeeping also has brought a happier, more relaxed lifestyle for me and has allowed me a chance to learn to sew, something I always wanted to do. So you might find a few sewn goodies in the shop.

We truly love our bees and continue to learn and grow and be the best beekeepers that we can. We only offer products we love and would use on ourselves or our children. We hope that you enjoy our products as much as we do and feel the love that they were made from.
