Artistic Gumbo

For twenty-five years, I did wood sculpture almost exclusively. I also designed for the gift market, creating whole room treatments, holiday and home decor. My work was sold world wide, resides in the home of several celebrities and has been featured in various magazines, newspapers and TV programs. It even decorated the Today Show set during the Christmas season. Then, ten years ago, my husband gave me the most wonderful gift, a beautiful gray horse named Mouse. She became my inspiration. For several years I did equine photography exclusively. Now, I've come full circle but I'm not just creating whimsical sculpture now, I'm also finding inspiration in pen and ink, encaustic and watercolor painting and even jewelry. I never know what inspiration will strike or what medium I will use to fulfill that leading. I say that I create an artistic gumbo and I hope, you find it absolutely delicious!
