Bring On The Good Vibes
Welcome to my dream. I call it my little corner of the internet where you can smile for a
bit. It’s also my goal to create a space to encourage young women to be their own
personal cheerleaders — to live life and celebrate it. Hell to the yeah, right? It’s about
eating good food and having fun. Hence the name of my shop! It’s more than a name to me, it’s a way of life.
Design Is In My DNA
I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a degree in Graphic Design
and Communications but I have always been involved and interested in illustration and
incorporating hand lettering into my work. Some pretty awesome teachers encouraged
my approach and that helped me to really hone my skills.
From there, I started to do a lot of Minted invitation contests (won 2 of them!) and did a whole bunch of courses on Skillshare — even teaching a couple myself. (That’s Ms. Lala, thank you.) Those adventures helped me get an internship at Cartoon Network as a Creative Service intern. I know!
Next was graduation, a freelance gig with Paper Culture, and my first official job at Sanrio, Inc as an Associate Product Designer. Today, in addition to offering my work through A Case Of Feels, I’m also a Product Developer for a figurine company in my hometown of Jacksonville!
A Funny Process
Design is my jam. And it all gets done pretty simply, actually. I turn on some good
music and sketch out ideas I love and to the computer I go. Whatever I do, it’s about
making you happy and reminding you each day of your super awesomeness. If I turn
your mouth upwards, then I’ve done my job.
