Sizing details can be found under each individual listing.

All cards are A2: 4.25" x 5.5"

All prints are 8" x 10" (a standard frame size)

All postcards are 4" x 6"

Shipping Address

All orders are shipped to the address exactly as the buyer types it.
We do our best to accommodate any changes requested by buyer after purchase, but we cannot guarantee the ability to change your shipping address, as it may be processed quickly after your purchase. We unfortunately cannot refund orders in this case.

Order Returned To Sender

If an order is deemed not deliverable by USPS and is returned to Instead of Ashes, the customer will be sent a message via Etsy convo, asking if they would like to have the order resent or cancelled. If the buyer does not respond within 5 business days, the order will be cancelled, and the buyer will be refunded the price of the order, minus the cost of the shipping label. If the buyer would like the item sent to them again either at the same shipping address or a new shipping address, the customer is responsible for paying for a new shipping label.

Order Tracking

All orders come with a USPS tracking number. It can take anywhere from a few hours to a full business day for an order to be scanned in the tracking process. Don't worry, if your order status stays at "Label created, not yet in system" for a while, just be check back again in a bit, it really is on its way! You can also sign up for tracking updates via phone and text on the USPS website.

Shipping Info and Issues

Standard Shipping for all orders is USPS First Class Mail.

All orders have tracking numbers.

You can upgrade to USPS Priority Mail at checkout.

If you have a shipping issue (including issues where package is marked as delivered, but you do not see it, a USPS notice has been left, delivery status has not been updated, etc), please check the USPS official info here:

Orders cannot be refunded for being lost in transit before the estimated delivery date.

IOA ships orders ASAP, but once orders are shipped, they are in the control of the USPS, and issues can only be resolved by USPS.
