Additional policies and FAQs

We use 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesive on all of our wood skin products. This adhesive is extremely strong and durable. On the aluminum Apple products it creates a semi-permanent bond and may require extra work to remove from the back of your MacBook or iPhone. We recommend using a plastic putty knife and goo-gone or WD40 to remove all of the pieces of the wood and any remaining adhesive.

For the iPhone and MacBook Keyboard, the wood veneer comes off much easier. You should be able to peel it off of your phone with no residue. For the keyboard we recommend using a small blade such as an x-acto knife or Swiss army knife to slip in between the keys and the veneer to pop off the wood. It should also leave very little to no residue.

Please let us know if you have any questions regarding removal. Thank you.
