I wanted a pair of handmade dice for a gift, and when I saw that, if these dice come out a little weighted Jamie marks up the spots so that they will tend to roll high, I was convinced -- who doesn't need a pair of lucky dice in life? They arrived today really imaginatively packaged (I will not give away any secrets but it was entertaining just to open the envelope!) and exactly as stated -- two slightly differently sized, very slightly irregular cubes of polished bone, beautifully marked up with the spots in black and polished to a lovely pale gleam. They feel dense and cool to the touch and are a real pleasure to handle. They also make a solid satisfying clink when shaken in the palm. Clearly bone dice are the originals which all plastic dice are trying to imitate. n nI was really intrigued by the idea of slightly naturally weighted dice because of the differing density of the camel bone used to make them, so I rolled these a few dozen times and measured the average scores. They came out at 7.88 instead of 7 which I think is pretty much perfect -- just lucky enough to make a difference, but not over the top. I'm hoping my friend will use them in a few games of chance before she notices! n nReally nice job by Jamie Demolition. We stayed in touch throughout the process, my requests were understood and accommodated, and I whole-heartedly recommend the artefacts themselves. I'll be recommending other pieces such as the hand-carved hair-pins! n nThanks very much!

This is a beautiful knife. It looks and feels even better than I imagined. The wood is lovely, the blade is solid, and the sheath is genuine. Jamie has tinkered with my black heart.
