Announcement    My Etsy shop has closed. I have made the sad decision to leave Etsy in view of the marketplace's embrace of AI-generated art. The site - once proudly home to unique, hand-crafting artists - is now awash in AI art and I can no longer support a marketplace that does not support human artists.

My prints are still available through my website shop at jonstubbingtonart.com.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my work, whether that was by buying cards and prints from my shop, leaving thoughtful reviews, or just sharing my work with your friends and families. It all really helps a small business like mine. Please continue to support human artists.

Hi! I'm Jon.

Shop members

  • Jon Stubbington

    Owner

I am the illustrator and artist who runs Jon Stubbington Art. All print and poster designs are my own original creations, based on the places that I love to visit.

Production partners

  • A Local Printer

    Storrington, England

A Local Printer are an eco-printing specialist who produce my one-off, bespoke, and on-demand prints. That is, those items that are printed in small quantities and/or are printed on-demand when ordered through this shop.

  • Ashley House Printing Company

    Exeter, England

Ashley House print the A4-sized Devon prints I hold in stock. I send the final image to Ashley House in Exeter. They print it onto recycled paper using an HP Indigo digital press. The prints are then shipped back to me to be packaged into their protective sleeves, ready for distribution.

  • Sherewood Gallery

    Ashburton, England

Sherewood Gallery are a local print and photography business in Ashburton, where I live and work. They print my designs onto A4 or A3 paper for me to package and send out. I am in the process of phasing in Sherewood Gallery as my print supplier as existing stocks run out.

Frequently asked questions

What packaging do you use?

My cards and A4 prints are all packaged in a clear sleeve made from corn starch. These biodegradable bags are also supplied by Eco-Craft. They are fully compostable and should break down in around 45 days.

I am not currently able to source biodegradable sleeves that are large enough for my range of A3 prints. Instead, these are rolled and shipped in a recycled cardboard package. I have moved away from tubes so as to avoid the need for plastic stoppers.

A4 prints are usually posted flat in (recycled and recyclable) board-backed envelopes.

How are your products made?

All of my designs are created by me. Most are drawn entirely digitally in Photoshop, however some are created in pen on paper, and some are a combination of the two.

All designs end up as a digital painting which is then professionally printed to ensure a high quality finish.

My posters are printed by a couple of local print companies. I then package and send the prints to you.

If you have any questions about the production process, please drop me a message and I will be happy to help.
