Shipping

All in stock items will be shipped within 1 to 3 working days of placing your order. I will contact you if there is likely to be a delay. When you request a custom piece I will arrange a shipping date with you and will contact you once the piece has been dispatched.

Prints are sent via the Royal Mail to all countries and require a signature on delivery. They aim to take 1-2 working days in the UK and 5-7 working days for the rest of the world, however this is not guaranteed and can take up to 28 days to arrive.
Original artwork is sent using either the Royal Mail or Parcelforce in the UK (1-2 working days) and UPS for the rest of the world (3-5 working days). All items will require a signature on delivery.

*Important Note*:
International buyers are responsible for any and all customs charges, taxes and additional postage fees requested by customs.

Alternative Addresses:
I am happy to ship straight to the person the gift is intended, gift wrapped in coloured tissue with a handwritten note. Please include this request in the note to seller at checkout and confirm details of the alternative address for it to be shipped to.

I use recycled packaging as much as possible (re-using old packaging, made by myself from old materials or bought and made from recycled materials). However, if it compromises your items safe delivery then I will chose the most suitable packaging available which may mean at times it is not recycled.

Privacy

(effective 25th May 2018)

I am committed to maintaining the trust and privacy of the visitors and customers of my Etsy store. This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

The Information I Collect and How it is Used.

When you contact me through Etsy using their ‘contact shop owner’ or ‘request a custom order’ buttons I will need your name/etsy username in order to correspond with you. These details will not be shared with any other individual, business or organisation.
When you make a purchase in my Etsy store this is processed through Etsy (you can find Etsy’s own privacy policy here). So that I can fulfil your order I will need your name, postal address, the details of the product you have ordered and sometimes your email address. These details are used for shipping purposes only. Your personal information is not passed on to any third party companies, other than to carry out the shipping of your order.

The Information I hold

I retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with my services. Once your order has been completed I will only hold your name and transaction/invoice number to identify what has been sold and to be able to fulfil my accounting requirements. Your name and transaction/invoice number are held for 5 years for tax purposes, any other details are deleted and will not be kept on file.

Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal information that I hold. You may also have the right to change, restrict or delete your personal information or object to the way in which I process your information. You can email requests directly to me at hello [!at] kasasagidesign.com and I will be happy to help. You can also contact your local data authority to raise any concerns.

Changes To My Privacy Policy

My privacy policy is always under review and may be updated on occasion. You will always be able to access the policy under the policies section of my Etsy store.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

I am always happy to discuss commissions of any size or type! I usually ask a few questions to begin with to get an idea of the display you are looking for, any particular species you want making and establish what your budget is. I then draw out some ideas for you to chose from before finalising the design. Once you are happy with it I will begin making. A commission can take anything from 2 weeks to several months depending on the size and details put in. I will always confirm how long a piece will take to make before I start so you know when to expect it. As some times of the year are busier than others (Christmas being the busiest!) its always best to get in contact in advance to make sure I have plenty of time to get the details right.

Care instructions

As my work is mostly made from paper it will need a little looking after. Please do not hang it in direct sun light as this may discolour the paper or alter the colour of the paints used. It is also best to keep the work out of damp areas as the paper can soak up the moisture and start to go mouldy.
Free standing sculptures can be gently dusted, I find a hair dryer on a cool setting can help to move dust on parts you may feel are too delicate for a cloth.
