One of the most common questions I hear about my shop is, "What's Kitsy?" Believe it or not, Kitsy06 was my AOL instant messenger screen name that I created when I was in the third grade. I have no idea what it is, I made it up in my head, and the third grade imagination behind it is everything that I want instilled into my shop. I've imagined using it as my business name ever since I was a kid, and here I am today with Kitsy Co.

Making imaginary names isn't the only thing I've been doing since I was a kid. I've always been creating art. The creative gene has been passed down through my father's side of the family, and I am more than lucky it hit me. When debating what products I'd like to sell on Etsy, I decided to go with what I know best, design and art.

Kitsy Co currently specializes in digital download invitations and eclectic art. I'm a modernist. I'm a minimalist. I love bold colors and design. I love mixed media. I love using my imagination. And I am not a cookie cutter. My initial focus is children's designs and themes (love being a kid), but based on feedback, I'm willing to go wherever the wind blows.
