I have been creating original Mid Century inspired art since 2001. I am a self-taught painter and focused on creating original works up until 2011 when I took the leap and went to school for graphic design. My work soon shifted to digital design artworks and creating wallpaper & fabric designs to sell via Spoonflower. The Spoonflower thing just took off on a life of its own so I found myself searching for a craft that would be different from anything else I had created before and it had to be something tactile. I decided to take my love of vintage Christmas and do my own spin on it. Taking inspiration for a pair of 1950s stockings that were passed down to me, I wanted to take it into the 21st century with quirky characters and full on kitsch (glitter, pom poms and felt). This is how Kukukitchoo was born! Since 2018, I've stuck with the wallpaper/fabric graphic design while spending most of the year felt crafting for the holiday season.

My newest Kitschmas stockings are listed starting in September of each year and I do post on Instagram @kukukitchoo frequently with new stockings.Custom stocking orders are taken starting in April every year and I do add new characters (including new dog breeds) each year.
