Announcement    This year I’m going to do a limited edition of miniature vignette :-) standby…

My other passion is cooking:) here is my latest recipe

OMG Blackberry Cobbler

18 oz fresh blackberries (4 cups). Family Tree Farms ard the best, Sam’s is carrying recently

two refrigerated pie crusts

one stick butter melted

Toss berries in

1/4 c flour
1 T corn starch
2/3 c sugar
1 t cinnamon

place one pu crust in a 7 1/2 x 8 Pyrex (that’s a vintage size… you actually can use an 8 x 8 or just about any size, I like the 7 1/2 x 8 in size because it makes cobbler deeper)

put the berry mixture in, too with 2 T lemon juice and 1/2 the butter. top with remaining pie crust rhen remaining butter.

Bake at 350 for one hour.

I believe in doing things right—I am a retired Marine and just can’t help myself, I give special attention to packing— I want my vintage and handmade items to get there in one piece. And to be pretty :-)

I believe in customer service and will bend over backwards to make my customers happy.

I gave up the corporate grind in DC and moved back to Kentucky to be with my family. It has been life changing-I don’t live to work anymore, I don't just exist anymore. I have time for friends and family and I am doing what I love. Which is hot gluing anything that doesn't move in my house:) I collect vintage and starting making little scenes with vintage items and I can't tell you how gratifying it is when other people like them also. What I am truly most excited about is that my son, Ross, got me started with ETSY ((8Bitinspired) and is my advisor and supporter.

I also find it gratifying that people who shop Etsy appreciate the quality of products and the work and effort put into all aspects. I think Etsy is a "higher end" experience and I like that and am proud to be part of it.
