I live on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. My home of Nanaimo, BC is a harbor city surrounded by all the best in scenery, whether it be our beautiful coastline and fantastic waters, or our stunning forests!

I started silversmithing some years ago, signing up for a 3 day beginner class on a whim, and quickly fell in love with creating in metal! I slowly started to gather the tools and equipment necessary for my own workshop, as there just really wasn’t much on the island in the way of classes or maker spaces at that time. My workshop continued to expand to fit even more tools as I developed my skills through self learning, online tutorials, and the odd workshop, I love the feeling of connection one gets from creating and from purchasing handmade items…there is a quote I have always loved that goes “that’s the thing about handmade items…when you touch them, you feel less alone”. In this busy, automated world, there is just something special and more personal about hand created jewelry and I hope that when my customers receive their pieces they will feel the love and care that went into their creation!

My workshop is my happy space! My shop assistants are my 4 dogs (and quite frankly they take too many breaks and are a bit demanding). When I’m not in the shop, you will likely find me exploring many of our great hiking trails and parks.
