Growing up in the midwest, homes were often decorated in a classic "country" style. This meant weekends were spent either hunting for neighborhood garage sales or attending antique auctions. I always found it fun to find items from our house appear at a friends as our parents liked to sell and trade pieces back and forth.

Although I no longer live in the midwest, I still enjoy the vintage charm of antiques. Yet, today I find myself more attracted to the integration of the "old" with the "new". I would say I am more of an eclectic decorator. Furniture from different periods that seem to match just right, art from my travels around the world, and unique pieces picked up from a yard sale or flea market.

The unique and fun pieces you will find in my shop were gathered from my travels around the country and even the world for both business and pleasure. I regularly travel back country roads through small towns and am always looking for the next "perfect" piece. I also refinish and reupholster furniture. A skill I continue to develop through the close watch of my father, a lifelong handyman. You will see some of my refinished items in my shop.
