This was purchased as a gift for an avid biker. She was thrilled by it! Also the packaging made sure it was not bent during the shipping and I was able to repurpose it for the gift. I simply removed the shipping label and tied a ribbon around. Looking forward to buying more designs in the future.

Hi there! I'm McKenna, the designer and owner behind Well Explored Co.

In 2018, I opened an Etsy shop as a creative outlet—dabbling in many crafts and handmade items (including some maps at the time). Through all of these experiments, I found that the maps really connected with people. They enjoyed finding their favorite town or vacation spot, and used them as a reminder of their favorite places. I, too, enjoyed maps for this reason and the process of map-making.

In 2022, I renamed the business to Well Explored Co. and started focusing more on these maps and outdoor-themed products. Long road trips, camping trips, and National/State Parks have always been a big part of my life, so this new brand only felt natural. In fact, many of the products I design are inspired by places I've been.

Fast forward to 2024, Well Explored is still growing and I'm always working on creating new things. You can find products here online, at many local markets throughout the year, and at stores around Grand Rapids and Detroit.

I hope you will find joy, good memories, and new adventures with every item.

Do you do custom orders?

I am not currently taking any personalized orders, but always welcome ideas for new products. If you have an idea, please let me know! If I think it could sell, I will consider adding it to the shop.

Do you offer digital downloads?

I do not currently offer any prints in digital format. All of my prints are outsourced and use high-quality inks and paper.

Can I purchase a bulk order?

If you would like to purchase a bulk order for wedding favors etc, please send me message! I do offer bulk order discounts. Depending on your quantity and my inventory, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for printing and shipping.

How should I display my print?

I receive many questions about what frame would look best with my prints. For postcards, I love the look of an 8x10 floating frame like these: https://amzn.to/41FmDMU. You could also use an 8x10 matte frame.
