I'm captivated by spring blooms and summer storms, fireflies and starlit nights. When I'm not painting them or writing poems about them, I'm usually digging in my garden, trying to make things grow.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take commissions?

While I'm not able to take commissions at this time, I do welcome your input as to what type of art you'd like to see in my shop! Please follow me on social media (@peonyandluna and @deborahmarieking) to share your thoughts through comments, DMs, or interacting with my stories.

What's the best way to take care of my art so it will last a long time?

I choose high-quality, lightfast pigments for my original art and archival inks for my art prints, which means they will last for many years without significant fading. However, I recommend framing your original art or print behind UV-protection glass and hanging it out of direct sunlight for maximum color vibrancy throughout the life of your art or print.

Do you sell your art wholesale?

I would love the opportunity to sell my products wholesale to you. Please contact me directly to discuss pricing details and so I can set up a custom listing for you.

Do you gift wrap presents?

I wrap all of my packages if they come directly from my studio! This typically includes original artwork, smaller prints, notecards, and stickers. For an additional $4, I'm happy to include a notecard with a personalized message. A few of my products and large size prints are drop-shipped, which unfortunately means I am not able to wrap them or include a notecard.

How do you package and ship your art?

Your new artwork will arrive at your home beautifully wrapped and carefully packaged to prevent any damage in transit. I ship smaller pieces (5x7, 8x10, 11x14) in a protective sleeve and rigid mailer and larger pieces gently rolled in a sturdy mailing tube. If you purchase multiple pieces, they will be packaged together to prevent waste.

Does your artwork come with the frame pictured in the listing?

At this time, I do not offer matted/framed artwork, unfortunately. If I ever decide to do so in the future, it will be clearly noted in the listing that the frame is included.

May I reproduce the art I purchase from you?

My artwork is intended for display in the purchaser’s home or private office and may not be reproduced, resold as a retail product, or used in any other commercial form without written consent. I retain all rights to reproduction and distribution of the artwork in question for commercial purposes. If you are interested in licensing or wholesale purchase of my art, please contact me directly to discuss details.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

I don't typically. However, if your item seems in some way significantly different from what you expected, please message me within 7 days of delivery to discuss if a return will be possible. For elective returns, customers are responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee ($5). Your return refund will be processed (minus the restocking fee) as soon as the item arrives in good, resalable condition.

In the unhappy event that your artwork should arrive at your home damaged, please contact me with several photos showing the extent of the damage, and I’ll be happy to discuss a potential refund or exchange with you.

My art came in a tube, and now it is curled up. What can I do?

To flatten a piece which has been rolled in a tube, place it carefully under some clean paper and several books for a day or two.
