I started taking photos when I started traveling and people would ask me if they could buy them!

I am a self taught, innovative photographer and playwright. I bought a new camera when I went to Europe. While I was visiting Mykonos, Greece, I saw a black cat on a ledge by the Kastro Bar. I took a photo, expecting the cat to hear me and scatter away but she stayed very still to pose for the photo. I didn't think anything of it - but later when I downloaded the photo -- I realized the cat looked like she was staring at a poster in the window. I entered it into the California Fine Art Competition and won an award on my first try. From then on -- all I wanted to do was travel the world and take photos! I love taking photos of nature especially landscapes and waterscapes. I live right by the Sacramento River and often visit Lake Tahoe which always inspires me to photograph the beautiful blue lake and Sierra Mountains. I also enjoy taking portraits and merging them with beautiful aspects of "Mother Nature." It inspires my imagination, making all thingd possible! Taking a nap on the clouds in the sky, becoming a fairy sprite in who lives in a tree in a magical forest. It just takes photography to the next level for me - telling magical stories and creating unique images of beauty.
