Moving a friend from his upholstry shop, I noticed a pile of samples and remnants, which he told us to take to the dump. I started looking at them carefully. All new material, all beautiful, sturdy and fairly large. I asked if I could take them home and play with them. A business was born.

I create purses, hand bags, tote bags, pouches, etc. I gave them away at first and then started going to markets. I am at the Santa Fe Farmer's Artisan market every other Sunday and various seasonal markets in Northern New Mexico. There are new items every week.

I also make tunics out of old lace table cloths and curtains. Wearing over turtle necks and T-shirts they are beautiful.

And soft trays for jewelry, cell phones, keys, change, remotes, or what ever you have thrown on the counter.

I sew out of my sun room, and it is piles with materials - would be embarrassed to produce a photo as it is piled high in every corner :)
